Over the first weekend of September, we went to Anna Maria Island. There, I took the opportunity to check cell towers with the CellMapper app.

Today, we are looking at a DAS that seems to be from Verizon. This has the eNB 147431-22 and seems to have only band 66. It is located near the traffic light of Gulf Dr. Interestingly, it later connected to 5G. However, since Visible does not yet support 5G Standalone, I cannot confirm whether band n77 is present, as the gNB number is not exposed.

Below are its details and an LTE speed test performed using CoverageMap:

And this is when I got a 5G connection with band n77. Again, I cannot confirm whether the DAS supports n77, but the speed test results are impressive!

So, if you have Verizon, Visible, or any of the MVNOs that use their towers, you are well covered in Anna Maria Island.

Later, we will see another particular tower around that I saw that also has amazing speeds.
