Ever wondered how electricity is made in Puerto Rico?

Today, I’ll shows you a video of the Costa Sur Thermal Power Plant which is one of many Power Plant generators here on the Island.

I had the opportunity to visit this place as part of an IEEE organization activity in the university where I study. The plant is located in Peñuelas, PR (Click here to open Google Maps).

It was a great experience since we were given a tour in the entire power plant. The plant uses the Rankine cycle to generate electricity to millions of residents on the Island. You can learn more about how electricity is made with these plants on the following Wikipedia articles:
