In this post, I’d like to share with you one of the tunnels we have in Puerto Rico, called “Tunel Minillas”. Above this tunnel is the plaza that leads to “Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce”. The tunnel is short, and is one of the most transited roads in Puerto Rico, as it is part of the highway that leads to the South or West of the Island.
Today I will show you one of our greatest bridges, which right now connect the Baldorioty de Castro Expressway, Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in Carolina, and Isla Verde with Trujillo Alto and San Juan, including the recently built Mall of San Juan. This bridge crosses the San José Lagoon. It is also used to hold a 10K race. The bridge features flags that are sometimes changed depending on the season or event occurring at the bridge.
This is a video riding the bridge in the direction from San Juan to Carolina (Baldorioty de Castro expressway):

This is how it looks in a heavy rain day. Video is the direction from Carolina to San Juan. There is a toll at the end, and it is one of the most expensive tolls on the Island, costing more than $3 to pass through that toll. Usually, tolls around the highway are around $1.25 to $1.75:
