Hi everyone,

Today, we will be seeing the Transcend DVD TS8XDVDS-K External Slim Optical Drive. This is an external USB DVD Drive capable of reading and writing various CD and DVD formats.

The formats this unit is capable of reading includes CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD+/-R, DVD+/- R DL, DVD+/-RW and DVD-RAM. It can also write to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-R DL, DVD+/-RW and DVD-RAM.

The drive is powered by USB and uses a Mini USB connector.

Unboxing

The drive comes in a small, rectangular box which is shrink-wrapped:

The optical overall drive tray design, including the optical lens, is the same as other LG USB Slim Optical Drive models. This unit is an LG drive.
