Hi everyone, Last week, we had a severe thunderstorm in the area. Unfortunately, a thunder strike caused the main transformer to be taken offline. Once power was restored, I found out that some stuff got damaged. In the findings, the server data SSD was damaged. Luckily, I had a recent database backup. I immediately moved to order the parts that needed to be replaced. The SSD warranty already expired, so I ordered a new one. I also ordered a new…
Hi everyone, For several years already, I have owned an HP Stream 7 and HP Stream 8 tablets. These were low budget, Windows 8 tablets powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G Bay Trail processor and having only 1GB of RAM. These tablets are also limited to running the 32bit version of Windows not only because of the extremely low RAM amount by today’s standards, but also because the BIOS only runs 32-bit EFI images. This tablet can be upgraded to…

Most of these plants burn gas and some are of combined cycle. These plants are old and sometimes gives problems. Blackouts in the island happens because of…
Hi everyone, A couple of months ago, I wrote about the AmazonBasics 6-Outlet Power Strip disappearing from Amazon and having to go with an alternative power strip. I chose to order the GE 2-Pack 6-Outlet Power Strip which was similar to the original strip that I wanted to buy, and here it is: As we can see, the packaging is very, very simple and doesn’t come in a box like the AmazonBasics power strips did. This means it is less…
Hi everyone, Today, we will be seeing the 4-Pack EBL Lithium-Ion 1.5V AA batteries. These are AA batteries but are special in that they are rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and charges using a Micro-USB cable. An advantage of these batteries when compared to the NiMH batteries are that the former will output 1.5V while the latter will output 1.2V. This is important because some devices expect the battery to fully output the 1.5V. Other devices may work with 1.2V but may…
