Hi everyone, Today, we will be seeing some dishes I tried in some of Maracaibo’s restaurants in Venezuela during summer 2026. 1. Chinese food Went to 2 restaurants to try Chinese food. The first one is called Restaurant Yangtse LC. We tried Chinese rice with sweet and sour chicken: The 2nd restaurant is located in Centro Comercial Las Tunas. Again, we ate Chinese rice with sweet and sour chicken: 2. Hamburger One of the best hamburgers I’ve tried. They’re big…

Somehow, no one had mapped Maracaibo and Coro, along other parts. I am glad to have contributed the following. I’ve entered through the Maicao border, to Maracaibo. Used eSIMS from Qrispy (Digitel) and Airalo (Movistar). I’ve then kept the Qrispy eSIM and a physical Movistar SIM once I arrived in Maracaibo, since it was cheaper than just continuing using the travel eSIMs. Venezuela still operates 3G UMTS/HSPA and 4G LTE. There is no 5G on Movistar and Digitel yet, at…
Hi everyone, I have reached an accomplishment as I’ve now scanned over 15,000 cellular cells with the CellMapper Android App. As can be seen from the image above, I’ve scanned 2 regions. It reports 3 because it uses the MCC code and in the USA, Verizon uses the code 311 while AT&T and T-Mobile uses the code 310. Code 732 is from Colombia. I’ve scanned the following carrier cells and towers: USA Colombia My next goal is to reach 20,000…
Verizon recently collocated themselves on an existing cell tower near Paddock Mall, in Ocala, Florida. This tower already had T-Mobile, AT&T, and Boost cells. Verizon was not part of this tower but literally have one almost next to it. Verizon made an interesting move in using a Galtronics GP6536-08157 antenna in it, a first on Ocala. Also interesting is that the antenna is installed on a single sector. There seem to be remote radio units installed on all of the…
Hi everyone, Today, I spent my day adapting the Jellyfin Last.fm plugin to function solely with Libre.fm. While the Last.fm plugin added support to use custom endpoints that allow it to work with Libre.fm, it can only scrobble to 1 service at a time. To overcome this, I forked the jellyfin-plugin-lastfm plugin, cleaned it up, and modified it to only work with Libre.fm The result is that now, Jellyfin can scrobble to all 3 main scrobblers, as this plugin can…
Hi everyone, Some months ago, I wrote about a cell tower containing Verizon’s hardware in Inverness, Florida. Today, we will be taking a look at some other towers that I passed by but were not located in the CellMapper app. From the above image, the only ones that remain unlocated are the Verizon eNB 145883 and 506565. These are probably very old and may have been removed. This post covers the following Verizon eNB sites: Verizon commonly have 2 eNobeB…
