Today, we will see the ICY DOCK Ultra Slim ODD + 3.5″ to 5.25″ Front Bay Bracket Adapter. This is a bracket that allow us to add an Ultra Slim 9.5mm Optical Drive and a 3.5-inch Hard Disk Drive or Solid State to the 5.25-inch front slot some computer cases has for a 5.25-inch optical drive.

If you have a 9.5mm optical drive instead of a full-height 5.25 drive, or need to add an additional 3.5-inch hard disk drive to your computer case, then this adapter is for you.

This adapter comes in a small, standard box showing the details of the product:

When opening the box, we can see that the contents are inside a bubble-wrapped bag:

This kit includes the SATA power cable needed to fit a standard power supply SATA cable to the ultra slim Optical Drive SATA connector. It also includes the screws needed to secure the drives and bracket. Also included is the manual detailing how to install the drives to the bracket:
