Hi everyone, Today, I’ve released rav1e GUI v1.8: This release adds a pause/resume button that allows you to pause and resume the encoding session right from the GUI. It also allows you to resume a previous session if the software is closed or a system crash occurs. When there’s an interrupted session, say, your machine crashed, those hours wasted encoding the video are not entirely lost, because now, when you open the software again, it will recognize that there was…
Hi everyone, Today, I’m sharing my Unboxing video of the KZ ZS7 IEM. These have become my new favorite IEM to use to listen to music. They have a really good sound reproduction. Watch the video below: Do you have these IEMs? What do you think?

Hi everyone, Today, I’ve released v1.6 of rav1e GUI: This new release adds Drag-and-Drop support, which means you can now drag and drop a video file into the GUI or software executable and it will be used as the input automatically. No need to browse for the input video file again! That is, of course, if you use the new drag and drop feature. You can download this new release at GitHub here: https://github.com/moisesmcardona/rav1e_gui/releases/tag/v1.6) Enjoy!
Hi everyone, Today, I’m sharing yet another AV1-encoded video using rav1e. As usual, it was encoded with parameters -q 175 -s 0. This video started encoding at 7:29:10 PM yesterday and concluded at 5:01:07 AM today. Enjoy and let me know what do you think of the quality: I’ve also updated rav1e GUI to include this rav1e build. Download at the rav1e GUI page.
Hi everyone, Yesterday, I started encoding one video I recorded in 2011. The encode started at 12:39:28 PM yesterday and finished at 9:50:41 AM today. Encode settings where -q 175 -s0 and the audio is encoded using opus at a bitrate of 64kb. The resulting size of this video is just 12.9MB! See it below: The video was encoded using my tool, rav1e GUI

Hi everyone, Today, I’ll be sharing with you my unboxing video of the Google USB-C to 3.5mm Headset adapter. This is a USB-C adapter that allows you to use headphones, earbuds, IEM’s and headsets with compatible devices like Android phones supporting USB Audio devices or with a PC, in which this dongle is detected as “Headset Adapter”. It features an integrated DAC (Digital-Analog Converter) although it is unknown which DAC it uses. The reason I got this adapter is to…
Yesterday, I received the Hidizs AP80 Digital Audio Player from their [kickstarter campaign](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/873263862/hidizs-ap80-next-generation-ultraportable-hifi-mus). After that, I received a tracking number which is of no use because of course, I already have the unit here and it shows as “Delivered”, so it came as a surprise and was shipped by Amazon since they fullfill US orders from them.
So, here’s my unboxing video that I recorded of this tiny (smaller than I expected) audio player. Enjoy!
