Hi everyone,

A few months ago, I purchased the Silicon Power DDR3L 16GB 2 x 8GB CL11 1.35V SO-DIMM DDR3 RAM Kit for my desktop computer which uses a laptop 3rd-gen Intel i7 CPU. The RAM Kit I got is from Silicon Power. It’s 2 modules of 8GB, having a voltage rating of 1.35V and a latency rating of CL11.

The motherboard I’m using is a Jetway NF9G-QM77, which effectively makes using Intel 3rd-gen i7-3610QM laptop CPUs as a desktop CPU. This motherboard is uses a Mini-ITX form factor:

The system recognized it and all 16GB are useable, running at the rated 1600Mhz speed.

While CPU-Z doesn’t show the DRAM manufacturer, Silicon Power states in the product description that it uses Hynix RAM.
