This is an External Blu-Ray Writer that can burn CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray XL media. I could not find a data sheet with the supported write speeds. This drive is already discontinued.

This drive is already discontinued and Samsung no longer makes optical drives for PCs. The unit seems to be reading discs just fine. I’ll try to test the burning part of it later.
